Craving chocolate but have a lactose intolerance or you can't eat commercially produced chocolate here is the perfect alternative that is Paleo friendly and gluten free. Free from allergens such as nuts etc.
Ingredients
- 5 tablespoon Nature's Finest Coconut Oil
- 5 tablespoon cocoa powder
- 5 tablespoons desiccated coconut (or crushed nuts)
- 2 ½ tablespoon honey (or raisins, dried fruit pieces)
- Pinch of salt (Himalayas salt is best)
Note: for the raw version: use raw coconut oil, cacao powder and raw honey.
Process
- Melt coconut oil in a bowl submerged in a larger bowl of boiled water.
- Add remaining ingredients and mix well.
- Place the mix into ice cube tray or a chocolate mould.
- Place in the fridge for about half an hour to an hour.
- Remove chocolate from the moulds, serve and enjoy
