Craving chocolate but have a lactose intolerance or you can't eat commercially produced chocolate here is the perfect alternative that is Paleo friendly and gluten free. Free from allergens such as nuts etc.

Ingredients

  • 5 tablespoon Nature's Finest Coconut Oil
  • 5 tablespoon cocoa powder
  • 5 tablespoons desiccated coconut (or crushed nuts)
  • 2 ½ tablespoon honey (or raisins, dried fruit pieces)
  • Pinch of salt (Himalayas salt is best)

Note: for the raw version: use raw coconut oil, cacao powder and raw honey.

Process

  1. Melt coconut oil in a bowl submerged in a larger bowl of boiled water.
  2. Add remaining ingredients and mix well.
  3. Place the mix into ice cube tray or a chocolate mould.
  4. Place in the fridge for about half an hour to an hour.
  5. Remove chocolate from the moulds, serve and enjoy
